I can't help but say this is adorable, but I also understand why you drew it.

I've been through a lot of personal stuff this year some of it people know some of it people dont and well having these two sides to me sometimes really helps me to tackle stuff that I dont think i'd be able to tackle if i didnt have a way of seperating out certain thought processes...errr...that makes me sound a little crazy LOL. Either way im grateful that i have this sort of thing as an outlet

Its not crazy, I don't think that people understand what it means to have an outlet like this, as for me, my online self is nothing like IRL me, these parts of me are like your Star and Gem, they are both part of me, but also if I didn't have either of them I would probably swell up and explode...

I feel that you should know that this isn't crazy, and that there is nothing wrong with having these parts of you to use as destressers.

It's not crazy to have two persona for you to balance yourself out... in fact, I'm quite envious of you for having such a gift, Sammy.

No, it doesn't sound crazy. In essence, it's just another way of talking to yourself, which is a trait that most intelligent people have. It allows us to logically consider both sides of an issue or problem, and gives us insight into it. So, Sammy, Star, and Gem are all there, together, to allow you to work things out.

Now, some people may think that's crazy, but they don't understand smart people.

Now, as to the picture, this is one that you could make into a card or a Meme. I think, despite the fact that both Star and Gem are animals (to the public who doesn't understand furs), that the message is universal.

It's not crazy. I think of it like a crystal having multiple facets. They're all part of the same thing, just different perspectives. I have quite a few myself with Me, Molly, Daphene, my pony personas, and my puppy...it's crowded in here.

My main fursona is a shape-shifting biomass of roughly 300 trillion sentient cells. I have on occasion had prolonged discussions with them in my dreams, as well as with my secondary one, and this Yvhuce fursona (which i consider my tertiary), and 99% of the characters I used to write about. I've been inside more character's heads than an earworm...

So, yeah... I don't think you're crazy. More like having found a pragmatic approach to dealing with a problem, which some aspects of society don't think to condiser very often.

I actually had an idea for a TWEWY themed piece where Gem and Star are both Reapers, and Star asks a pair of Players to look for Gem after she wandered off, in exchange for clearing a barrier. When they do, it's actually Gem who has to remove the barrier because Star doesn't have a high enough clearance, implying that Gem outranks her in the Reaper hierarchy.

Just to clarify, "TWEWY" means The World Ends With You.

To that end, I've always been interested to see a crossover of Star and adult Gem, like just them bumping into each other in a shop or something

Wow this gives a lot of hope to people I thank. I know I have a hard time dealing with my problems and a hard time excepting Who I am at times. but this art you make helps me get through some of that. And gives me hope thank you

I can only imagine that wind picking up Gem and her floating away XD. I've dealt with enough storms to know it's hard to hold an umbrella down and only Gem is holding it.

That being said, inspirational, etc. I understand what you did and it's great. Everyone else already highlighted that.

It also totally reminds me of the day I had to bring the 2 year old I babysit to camp and the parents had all three stroller in their cars. It was raining so I put her on my shoulders, gave her my umbrella and carried her the whole long way to camp (i may have been dubbed super woman after that lol)
I think this is my favorite piece of yours both because it's gorgeous and sweet and because it has one of my favorite little girls in it (or two, kinda how many yous are you?) and reminds me so much of another
Also the expresions the glow of the umbrella and the message are amazing
