Sabrina: Oh Salem, Chester was more than 'just a Mouse' we bred him for personality and Intelligence.
Salem: Well if you had bred him for speed, he'd still be here.

So, just to prove what an utter deviant I am: I watched quite a lot of Sabrina when I was younger. (More than I care to admit...blame my mother; for some reason she loved both the animated series and the live-action sitcoms.) I never got into it too much...EXCEPT for Salem.
I'm pretty sure episodes and scenes like this one were a major reason why.

and then he became a mouse for most of the episode to replace him, its funny how everyone then keeps saying that he (the mouse he ate that he is now impersonating) looks chubbier than they remembered, seeing as that extra chub in his mouse form comes from another mouse that was digested
