Just a scribble I made a while ago, some random image that stuck in my head, and... i haven't finished. Just posting to get some feedback, i suppose?

"He reaches his hand out towards a beautiful butterfly, longing for the freedom of flight, to soar upon the wind, far, far away, at the very moment death swoops down to pluck the innocent butterfly out of the air, crushing his dreams of freedom."

Was originally just going to be the bird, as you can see by the smaller scribble, but doodled the butterfly on a whim and... well... this seemed far more profound. Yay!

Anyway, when I originally got the idea, he was a satyr-thing, but then, I dunno, decided to turn him into a Pegasus thing that, due to a series of unfortunate events (haha?), doesn't know he is, had his wings cut off when he was little, blah blah, trauma and hardship, and generally lives a gritty life amongst Orcs (how is that misspelled?!) and Goblins and other nasty critters and things, (think LOTR film orcs, all unhygienic, etc). Maybe humans too? I don't know, he was going to be some lost prince of some royal blood line in some glorious (Pegasus) civilisation (Think Atlantis mythology?) thought to have been wiped out.....


Enough rambling already. Just thought I'd get some feedback? Anatomy? Composition? Comments welcome.
