Finally, after two months of no uploads I managed to get something done. I had a couple of other illustrations I was working on fall through, thus the painfully large time gap between now and my previous submission.

Anyway, here Kavidex is on the scene of a crime of some sort taking notes for the report and/or investigation. He finds it to be the more boring and tedious work of being a security officer on the Nexus, but it is necessary nonetheless.

As for the illustration, I wanted to try working with depth illusion to add a more dimensional appearance to my work. I used a (mostly) line-less background behind a well-lined subject/foreground. I also messed around with shadows and light to try and further add depth to the background, though I don't believe it panned out all that well. Also don't know what happened to my lines for this submission - all janky lookin'.

Oh well, it was worth a shot and I really needed to upload something for you all.
