I have very seriously been thinking about a van for just that very reason. Ease and volume for packing a lot of fursuits!!
I did get dubbed "master of Tetris" after loading 3 peoples worth of fursuit gear and support stuff for nearly 5 days of convention fun into a Ford Flex.

I am jealous! I want a Ford Flex, but they still go for north of 30k used!

Hmm, my first one was 2 years old with just shy of 40k miles on it and cost me $22k.
I traded it in on a new one a year later and got $17k as a trade in with 65k miles on it.
Maybe you should come to SC to get one. My Ford dealer had 2 or 3 used ones on the lot last time I was in for an oil change.
I think what drives the price up is that Ford doesn't advertise the Flex and no-one who has one wants to trade it in.
