I'm not so worried about missing a day if I'm going to catch up again,
defeat to me is more when I fall hopelessly behind and give up
I think last year I got some things done late, and missed a day or two at the end before I gave up?
I'm not sure I'd say any of my characters are really personas exactly, but I couldn't find myself associating with a furry until I finally ended up with my fursona(which took a lot of work to finalize the design), so a lot of my human characters are honestly a lot more like myself than any of my furry ones. Furries always start out more design based for me where my human characters build off traits and story/personalities first.
