Went to town this morning, to get medication for myself and grandma, and some brunch as well, when I left Country Mart, (Grocery store) I noticed this brown lump on the wall, I thought it was a dirt dobber nest or something at first and continued moving, then noticed it had 'black' coloration on it as well making me stop to take a better look, then it shifted slightly to get more comfortable and I noticed -it was a bat.- So I had to take a picture, in my supprise. IT was around 15, give or take probably 5 feet, and around 9-10 feet up on the wall, since if I reached up as far as I could I could touch the wall a 'few inches below' it..*not reaching for it, I reached up along the wall several feet to one side to check so I wouldn't disturb it* ..So The image is wonky from having to brace my phone on the wall, with adigital zoom to get closer...Had to flip the image right side up, since otherwise bat is upside down in the image. Might make sense, but this is how it -looked- when I tried to take the picture to me.
