Was exciting to watch! I was literally on the edge of my seat the entire time! It's all about good sportsmanship in the grand scheme of things. Both teams played really well; it was just a couple years ago when the Astros were basically the laughing stock of MLB, and here we are today.
Yeah, in 2013, they were the absolute worst at 51-111, and baby look at them now! The entire series almost put me into cardiac arrest, and I nearly lost my voice after screaming so loudly in game 7 when the final out was made. Game 5 was a definite thriller, I remember trying to get to sleep but had to check the scores every often and I was shocked to see how they were able to come back and win it with a walk-off run!
I never thought I would live to see this happen. I can vaguely remember (as a very young child) the Houston Buffs and Buffalo Stadium just east of downtown. Then the name change to Colt 45's (still have a "fan club" membership card somewhere) the opening of the Astrodome, and then another change to Astros. (so guess I have been waiting 60 years for this to happen) Sweet!
