Strange enough, your art style is so good that I have half a mind to request a funny pic from you of Rick poking Rouge in the shoulder commenting his astonishment that this is fur or even more hilarious is just Rouge complaining to Rick saying "All right, you know it's fur! Mystery Solved! Can you stop poking me now?!"

That's the idea behind the storm: She got caught due to a incredibly bad turn of events but it is that same event which is giving her the time she needs to plot an escape as the authorities don't know ef the events occurring inside the museum.
As for your idea regarding her fur: Yeah, pretty much Sonic Team's choices regarding her design really left a lot of leniency regarding what can be interpreted as being fur (or not) on her body.

Meaning the guy could still get tired. Though I feel like if there will be a lot more build-up if this is a porn comic. Like 10 more pages to go or something.
Do you know in Sonic Forces that when you pick the color of your character's muzzle and inner ear is called "Skin?" It's too hard for me to see such muzzles as skin. ^^;
