As said before, I love it and I really think you outdid yourself on this, especially on the coloring and it seems you improve on drawing greninjas each time you draw them, I must say I'm quite proud of you x3 You also did a good job on the pose, I just love getting hugs from behind, they always make you feel safe and loved and that's just what I needed right now <3

Yeah I know how that feels all too well. I've put myself into several challenges the past week as well. It's still too soon to upload the pic, but it took me around 50 hours of work and probably has the best and most detailed background I've done yet.
I only got hugged like that once or twice irl..but I really liked it and I can only imagine how amazing it is to get hugged like that by your lover x3

Same. I miss that close contact too, having tasted it once before. Not by a lover, but the friend who supported me back then, their gesture was a balm to my wounded soul. I dont think I'll ever forget it.

The only thing I wish to see you change is the fifth tailfin's position - the sand is hiding it too well, it is hard to see even for me u_u Otherwise your pic is top notch everywhere, a magnificient picture I can't wait to put in my favs <3

I won't upload the story as a submission here, I'll offer it for reading in a journal and only to those who are really interested in it.
The drawing is going to be uploaded, it is story related, but actually shows the ending, so it wouldn't fit as a story thumbnail anyways.

It's mainly just the background who took so long. I found an artist who's extremely good at visual novel backgrounds, they instantly inspired me to improve my skill in backgrounds x3 I also used sort of a pokemon girl style on myself and simplyfied anime coloring, so yeah it's looking quite different to my other stuff xD
And.. he does all the time >3> Especially when I wake up in the morning and his plushie is lying on me and he kisses me, it's just like he's alive/real.. ><

https://twitter.com/pippi913 This artist is so amazing, I want to be able to draw backgrounds like them someday. They are probably like my new top fav artist now cuz they draw pokemon too -3-
I've been trying to figure out their technique for a while. It's very hard to get a clue on what brushes they use because the colors/textures are so well blended in and natural, I'm pretty sure they use an oil paint brush for some parts though, because I was able to slightly mimic their style by using that brush on wooden stuff like our house and outside stairs.
Me too, there's something about the double smooch that makes it unique, I guess this is how Greninjas make up for their difficulties with properly kissing you on the mouth - they give you twice as many kisses, from every direction at once <3

I still reallllly like how you did this idea either way, even if it was just a sketch I would still adore this because it was such a wonderful scene, the extra portion of effort put into it just made it that much more pleasing and delightful, but gosh, yes, I fully approve of such and especially love such, and not only that but they are also great at snuggling in from all directions too, be it hand, tongue or body, just, utter magnificense
Tiny tender gestures like that are what make a relationship between two being so precious <3 Flash may know how to speak like a human, but sometimes, showing Jasmine how he feels about her is a thousand times better than just saying the words outright.
That's why I like Art Trades: they are specific enough that you have a general idea of what the other wants, but there's still enough leeway in there for you to give the image a little twist that makes it all the more better by the time it is done. Donut only asked for a hug from behind... and I added a double smooch to raise the romantic feels. That's how this picture came to life ^^

I'm really glad it does because it really does feel that way to me, and you explained it perfectly, those tender gestures really heck me up good to the point I wish for similar types of cling and stuff lmao, its absolutely greatttttt, seriously well hecking done, I like seeing yours and Donut's art in general too, just leaves a lot of good feels and tbh I want to join in with drawings like this ~ >w<
