Family in Sunset
This was a piece I did for my sister and her family as a Christmas present.
The original sketch was for some study I did in my uni class back in 2015. I was supposed to finish it off for my sister's family for last year's Christmas, but my niece wasn't born until a fair after Christmas, plus all those issues I had came up around then too.
But it was well worth the wait. Gave me time to really reflect on how I should actually compose this particular drawing. In the end I'm really happy with this.
My sister and her husband really liked this too when I presented it too them on Christmas. They also now have a big canvas of this, so I'm satisfied!
