We've got a long one, folks. That's because this is technically two stories in one: one with my partner,
dragonfire89 leading the changes, and one with yours truly leading the changes. Because of this, you'll be able to see how each of us 'GM'; Skylar using the actions of the protagonist as the catalyst, and me using the interactions between the characters. Or maybe I'm talking out of my ass. Whatever; if nothing else, you'll be able to see how great a writer BlackRobedMage is by comparison.
Also, we're not racist. Hope that's clear.

Found your story through the favourites list of an individual that favourited one of my own, and I'm glad I did! I love both TSF+Kemonomimi, and it's so rare to find fiction that feature both of these. While I never did understand the appeal of identity-death stories, you ended things for Felix and Skylar before it reached the point where I lose interest in this sub-genre. For a while, I thought Skylar's slow transformation and chatter-box nature was going to turn into the Achilles' heel of the Konfetti Kittens; I found his surreal journey to be quite intriguing.
