The Countess Anna von Golden is set on winning a costume party at all costs. However, her performance as a dog brings more trouble than she planned for, though it's also much more fun than she'd expected, and gives her opportunities she'd never dreamed of.
Cartoon physics and logic lightly involved. I tried to walk a fine line there since I adore the comic and wanted to stay true to it and what might come later. If this is cartoony, it's not madcap but instead just conveniently elastic physics.
Countess Anna is sagabel 's character, as is the image in the thumbnail and design of the dog.

Curious about one thing: do you think I ought to have had any reference to Anna seeing that the horse costume was now headless and thinking about trying it with her dog body as a centaur-critter? I thought about that, but there never seemed to be a good time to even introduce the topic. Maybe in the hypothetical part 2!

Awww you're welcome! =^-^= I'm glad you enjoyed it and that your section slotted in so well. The whole point was to describe the situation that led to and from the comic, so I'm glad I put a nice wrapper on it

You know how to have a way with words. I particularly liked the descriptions about her feet or toes adjusting to her cute puppy form. However I got disappointed later on because I thought it would eventually lead to a peril situation for the girl, like being captured and trapped in the suit, so she cant prove her identity, or something along those lines. Otherwise it was a cute story. PUPPY FEET!

Yay for puppy feet! There might be more opportunity for peril in part 2 if I do it. She'll be out there trying to seduce and attract dogs into traps to get the money for charity, and who knows what those mean girl snobs might do? A collar would make it hard to get her mask off! She might also end up at the animal shelter if she gets in the wrong car :D And of course there's the charity event itself where someone might start bidding for her by mistake in the charity auction and of course she can't disappoint the Marquise by losing all the money that went towards 'adopting' her.

Those sound like cool ideas. They can easily tease her about it, and eventhough she pulls and pulls, the material just stretches and snaps right back to her. And I was also thinking, when she got into the restroom, that the suit is more comfortable to wear completely naked and barefoot. So if she gets into a situation where she must drop the costume, she can't because she would be forced to be totally naked. Choosing between trying to get back home naked, or as a doggy can make an interesting dilemma
Its so humiliating to go from being royalty and reduced to a little collarless doggy. Saddened that she cannot see her real feet, just her paws, nobody realising who she actually is. But I remember she liked the part about her newfound wild self, not needing to care about keeping her hair perfect. Sleeping with other dogs who try to comfort her and plop down next to her, licking her feet, wait what? I got carried away there:)
Oh, thank you so much! =^-^= As you expect, while I know where I would take it in part 2 (and it would get more perilous for our heroine), I'm bounced around so much that I have no idea if/when I ever will :/

It seems to be a growing interest :) Not sure if I have much unfortunately. There's a little bit in Second Chances, it depends on who you think the main character is in All Wet, Caught in the Moment is a bit more fetish-y than realistic and the same goes for Kitty Kangaroo, Spooked has some, Reveille , Mall Tigress maybe. Often depends on point of view :p
This was a really good story. I too have written a story about a human in a Dalmatian costume, if you'd like to read it.
