Whelp, it seems like the local mad scientist has escaped the bedlam, and has tested a prototype size ray on the city's local slacker 'Anon' with "better than expected" results; leaving his secluded hideout, the scientist, and a small office building smushed undertread, His lover 
standing on his muzzle, waving a bit at the giant fox.
When interviewed about the bizarre occurrence, The massive fox simply gave a nod, with a look of confusion about this new lease on life. Trying not to blow the reporter away with a sniff OR crush the city from bending too much. Simply asking "so um, Does this mean I have to fight giant Kaiju now? I better get payed if so." pulling off the flattened madman, pocketing the ray with a grin, as Glitch sits on his shoulder, also grinning.
