You guys probably already guessed it, but here you have it in "print"
Forest Tails is taking a short hiatus on accounts of my ass not getting the dialogue right/getting too confusing and fucking up the story in the process. I was putting myself under too much pressure to write and a friend of mine had to set my head straight again and remind me that the quality of the upload was a lot more important than uploading "on time" - so ...
I dedicated several hours of time this past monday to work out some kinks about the return trip to Sunwind Fields and I've managed to roll along very well for it. I'm currently in the process of wording future pages again and I'll upload at the earliest opportunity. However, uploads will be more sporradic again for a while.
Of course this had to happen right after I opened the Ko-Fi page, so for all those of you who invested, sorry for the wait ^^; for those who want to throw money at me despite the delay, the link is just below.
This image (and some others like it) will serve as placeholders from here on out, so you guys can at least get an update on the situation, cuz I know nobody reads journals :b the artwork description will then hold updates on whatever issue might have arisen.

Your friend's right! Your comic's wonderful, so don't worry about taking the time to make the end product the best it can be, and something that you're happy with. That's way more important than rushing out pages that you're going to look back on unhappily.
I look forward to more pages, because this is one of the best comics going at the moment, but the artist and writer comes before the work, so don't worry about taking however long you need.

Good idea. I script out my books beforehand by now too, since scene changes ARE going to happen, if you script out stuff further in the story and noticed that you should move things around for the sake of pacing. Same with dialogue. I write them and read them a day or a week after, to still check if they hold up, sound natural for the characters and give you a flow of informations or impressions in the best way possible.
