Amongst some of the other ideas I've had, this is one I've worked on for a while and thought now is a fine time to release into THE WILD.

Some hives are nestled close to Mahna Drop trees and caverns, and that force can influence how Squee look. This specific mutation give the Squees bit of crystalline fur that jut out, a lustrous shimmer, and heavier bodies. As a result they don't fly very far and tend to have ground-based hives! They can also eat rocks and gemstones without a problem! They tend to have large hanging tails, and sharper shapes. I bet they're a prized possession among collectors and make quite a dazzling pet, hohoho.
