Thank you again for this incredibly beautiful picture!
It's been more than two months now since his death, but all his friends are still very much aware of the empty spot that he left.
He was an incredibly kind and caring person who was always concerned about the well being of his friends. As a nurse in a hospital he even made helping others his profession. In addition, he was probably one of the most thoughtful and eloquent people I've ever known.
In particular when looking at the picture, it brings me close to tears when I think about all the things and adventures that he never had the chance to experience. But in a sense the picture is right: He is indeed exploring a great mystery now ...
Since you finished the commission so quickly and more than two months before his death ... I regret deeply that he never saw the picture and that I maybe didn't show him enough how much he was valued.
I have to admit - I was unsure if I myself should ever post the picture. But I did - shortly after we found out about his death. Most people told me that is was a really stunning picture and a wonderful memorial to remember him.
Akineza: While this is a very sad picture for me now, it is still a masterpiece... and I honestly can't thank you enough for it
