Pokemon Trainer Lesson #1 - Picking Your First Pokemon.
When starting out on your journey as a Pokemon Trainer, remember to either receive your first Pokemon from an experienced trainer(or Professor) or befriend a young Pokemon. It is not recommended to attempt catching an adult Pokemon alone since you will likely fail. Prospective young Pokemon trainers should take note to avoid Pokemon termed as "Legendary." Many "Legendary" Pokemon have strange powers and are often capable of besting even the strongest trainers' Pokemon teams.
Darryl had heard that there were powerful Pokemon atop Mt. Coronet, but that never stopped him. He wanted to be a trainer of legend, one who would start his journey by capturing a Pokemon so powerful that none before had ever dared to try. He couldn't have made a worse mistake.
While no one ever saw Darryl again, Palkia found it's new toy quite entertaining once it had been reduced to a much funner size. Whiling away the days chasing Darryl around the Spear Pillar, occasionally giving him a light stomp, just to show who was in charge. In a way he did become a legend, although not in the way he intended. Darryl's missing person's report inspired a set of lessons for prospective young trainers to prevent anyone from making the same mistakes.

I think I'm getting stranger, this idea just popped into my head out of nowhere. If I ever get the time, I think the spear pillar would make a nice background.
Decided I should try some form of perspective. I've been avoiding it for a long time but I really needed the practice. I think it was a minor success, failing on Palkia's neck mainly. The angle I drew it at just made it nearly impossible to convey it's length. I also think the arms were a bit of a flop. On a side note... Owwww... My hand... Does anyone else have their hand start aching after the first hour or so of drawing?
