When not defending the innocent, the world, or his boxing title, Evan Langston can be found at Aberystwyth's Sea Circle Aquarium, as the co-manager. Being born into wealth, Evan's secondary career choice is quite astonishing. But in truth, he genuinely enjoys working at the aquarium, partically due to its freely-admitted children, who all think of him like a big brother, and his silent yet powerful bond the aquarium's main attraction; a sea turtle named Doethmor, nicknamed Dorothy by the kids. The two understand and communicate with each other through Evan's Langren soul sense. This outfit combines Evan's favorite dress pants and the aquarium's uniform polo, sporting its sea green and blue turtle logo. Even outside the workplace, it remains his favorite of threads.

Commonly assigned as the daily tour guide, Evan developed a great admiration for sub-aquatic life thanks to an encounter with a mercat, named Safier. A few years ago, Evan's yacht was ambushed by pirates off the coast of Holland. Safier heard the ruckus and swam under the yacht only to be caught in its net. After fending off the pirates, Evan dove under to free her, but was tangled in the net and dragged down by its weight. Safier freed herself, pulled Evan on deck, and saved his life with a passionate kiss before disappearing beneath the North Sea. Because of her kiss, Evan is able to breathe underwater indefinitely. With his family fortune funding the aquarium's search for new attractions, Evan longs to see the feline mercreature again.
