great as always and i think that doing lorenda like this is a little more tasteful than if she were in a bikini since she does worry bout her weight some. But you will get better drawing proportions for heavier girls though i think you're pretty good now.

I do so adore Bovine girls, and your Lorenda is a personal favorite among them. I love seeing girls with some meat on them *smiles softly* makes me feel better to see people saying girls that are a bit "plush" are pretty.
I am sure as you say, all the jewelery was a terror to draw/color, but it makes her look even more wonderful hun.

Good counterweight. And yeah, I did notice you still have a little trouble with her, as the strip she met Abel had her belly shrink in the last panel but her breasts grow. But who's complaining?

A costume that wouldn't look out of place in an eastern fantasy MMO, although you'll never see that type of figure wearing one.

Don't short change your ability to draw, as it is obvious you draw VERY WELL, and Lorenda may be a challenge but she is an attractive character in her own right, and honestly, the belly dancing outfit would probably look better on her anyway. Heavy set girls can be attractive! They do exist. Society as a whole just tends to over-glorify the skinny, super models that plaster our fashion shows, TV and hollywood. And i think drawing Lorenda is a great way to break that stereotype.

welll FA is certainly the place to learn how to draw heavier women...although whether or not those designs are realistic is hard to say. but you seem to do a good job of it.

You certainly are brave for taking on all that jewelery! Good job on it and Lorenda (flaunt those curves babe!).

I love the lil winglings and I really fussed and debated about adding them...but I worried ultimately that they would make the picture seem really cluttered in an unecessary way. So they are ah...just perfectly placed behind her back so people can't see them....yesssss. *shifty eyes*

They do see aroudn the shoulder blades, and her thick arms means they hide perfectly behind them. So there you go.

Jeez, about time; If I recall correctly, belly dancers are supposed to have some "meat" on there so it pleasantly jiggles.
Also about time Lorenda dressed up like that. She really gotta take some dressing lessons from mommy.

That's why you must practice working on those with larger proportions Mab. Least it turned out rather nicely. And usually jewelry goes better with the dancer look then simple bikini style. What with the whole part of getting people's attention and being alluring.

if you want my advice for helping to 'nail down' the proportions of a particular character? opencanvas, or some other digital program that handles in a similar fashion, big canvas, and just -fill- with basic figure poses of what proportions you're trying to figure out.

Bovines do seem to make the best belly dancers.

I think that body type is really hard to draw, too... For lack of experience, natch. I've noticed it sort of being in flux in the comic, but I think only gets better.

Way to go Amber she turned out great! and as far as bigger frames go, to have such a belly she should probably have some more meat on her arms and or legs, but that's only my perspective as a large person myself.

Not all larger gals have meat on their arms and legs, it depends on their height and a few other things.
Being over 6', I have almost all of my wait on my torso and hips, just like Lor. :)
