In wearing my Simisage fursuit a few times, I decided a modification was needed to a) help with the heat issue, and b) help the neck of the head blend in better with the rest of the body. In talking with the maker, we decided to replace the upper chest and the neck flap with the same green hair as the rest of the body, and then install a partial zipper there (the main zipper is in the back). Fortunately they were able to get it done in time for Furry Migration this year, and I was able to wear it there!

I will say the modification was a success! Not only does the neck blend far better with the body, but that new zipper (auxiliary/emergency vent) makes a difference! Granted, it's still a hot suit (aren't they all?), but having the ability to quickly unzip at least the upper chest area is a very nice safety valve to have. Overall, I'm quite pleased with how he now looks and operates.

This shot was outside the main hotel for Furry Migration 2018, after the parade when I decided to muck around a bit. It was actually a semi-cool, breezy day, making for some comfortable wearing.
