"How do I look?" Drago asked, with a smile.
"As gorgeous as the Tatla’s shine." Cora replied back, with her glare unflinching followed by her soft smile.
"Bah, mother, you are not yourself today, tell me honestly, with your humor as you always used to!"
Cora giggled at Drago and approached him, taking his mane hair in her hands whilst running her fingers through the strands, taking meticulous care not to snag him with her taloned fingers. Her gentle touch then moved down to his braids, pulling them up front with a soft caress, arranging them just right, side by side as in the years past.
"Splintered from the same bark, you and your father.."
"Yet, I do not have his eyes.."
"Oh my dear, eyes don’t make the man.. But you’ve definitely got his tongue and moreso.. "
Cora giggles again and gently tugs on one of his braids playfully, having teased Drago with her sense of humor he’s been so accustomed to growing up.
"Run along now.. Rafe will be home soon."
