Over the past few months, I wanted to try and do some work on an old character of mine, named Zuloroko (or Zulo for short). He's a character that I've had for a few years now and I wanted to try and rework him some.
This is meant to be more than just a visual change, but a change to his story and concept as well. It is still very much a work in progress.

These are just some ideas that I had floating around in my head; I was thinking of maybe making him a dragon with more of a mix of eastern and western, though I’m not sure on a look for that yet. His tail spikes at the end of his tail will be changed, though I have no idea how to describe it, kinda like feathers but not?

This is a small scene where he's making an offering to a certain wishing shrine.
Nothing here is set in stone just yet. This is a redesign that still has a ways to go and admittedly, I feel strange about it.
