Huzzah! Here's a commission I got from sfemonster, of the Feral College Student from Survey Says! They are so rad. Look at them go!

* They are a quadruped, similar in build to a puma or a sphinx of sorts. Back legs are lion paws, front legs are more lion-anthro hands of sorts. Small spindly fingers with no claws for texting, and the tiniest of beans for added grip. They do have a single retractable claw on their thumbs, which helps for poking open hard plastic or getting into beer bottles.
* Human face, but light fur all over their body. Generally scraggly looking(like most college students). Has "human" hair that grows down in a mane past their shoulders. The fur tends to be light in most spots, while long and dangly at the joints and underbelly.
* Their necks are slightly longer than a human's, to better let them see over tall people during lectures.
* Rounded fluffy ears that wrap around large headphones, but have small earholes that fit standard-size earbuds.
* Two small stubby horns, for holding important objects like bagels and donuts.
* Their eyes reflect light, and are adjusted to a nocturnal level of illumination. Specifically the kind of nocturnal where there's one bright source of light like a computer screen, but the rest is dark. They're weird like that.
* A long prehensile tail, lightly furred. The end of the tail has little RIDGES on it, which can be wrapped around to hold a standard size coffee cup.
* They have a marsupial pouch! Rather than holding young, it holds phones and mp3 players. The base of the pouch has little USB chargers that connect into their nervous system, letting them charge devices or record idle thoughts as sound files.
* Feral College Students in northern climates will grow Hoodies and Cargo Shorts, shedding the old layer every 2 weeks or so.
* Their speech is a mixture of cat noises, growling, mumbling, *phhhbt* noises, and sign language. They have the strange magical ability to be understood regardless. The barista at the coffee place will still spell their name wrong though.
* Feral College Students are not entirely narcoleptic, but are known to sleep anywhere in any position. They prefer to burrow and make nests out of various linens and blankets.
* While Feral College Students can be solar powered(like most cats), this tends to put them to sleep, so they try to avoid being in the sun when it's not naptime.
* Their digestive system can harvest nutrients from darn near anything, even "foods" that would make most humans blanche. That said, it's not a very efficient process, and they gravitate towards coffee and donuts to get a lot of their power.
* A pack of Feral College Students is known as a Dormitory. Their society is neither matriarchal nor patriarchal, instead deferring to "The one with the beer", "The one with the good house", and "the best member for group projects". These three form a trifecta of government, extracting deference from the other students ala a feudal structure.
