Best friends Zach (PC Shinx) and Owen (NPC Riolu) reunite after being forcefully separated. It seemed like they had only been apart for a couple days, but according to Owen, over a month had passed.
Reaaaaally don't like how this shading makes Zach appear to have a 5 o'clock shadow here. If I were to redo this drawing today, the lighting would have been quite a bit different.

yeah. if yuo sttill have the unshaded version of it you can redo the lighting and shading on a separate set of layers. im no artist but i know the tools and lighting :P
you can probably get it to look spot on if you tinker with a few settings there.

incredibly smooth. the lighting is the only thing tripping it up. if im totally honest here, it looks to be coming from a different direction on each poke here, slightly more leftwards for riolu while closer to directly above on shinx - at least as far as their faces are concerned
