Everything has an end, right?



That's what Father said when gardening...



One plants a seed, life is born and eventually, it dies.



A family grows... A friendship is born.



And bonds are made...



We formed a bond, didn't we Big brother? 



Then you left us. 



We had a bond...



I didn't understand back then, all the things you said about growing up. What real pain felt like.



The feeling of not wanting to lose something precious to you...



Is that what Father feels every time he looks at a plant withering in the garden? What was his saying...



Even a withered flower can be beautiful..? It all depends on how much you love it...



Is that what you felt, every time you smiled at me? Gave me a hug and promised "Some other time.."? 



What did you feel every time I tried and tried again and again to get your attention, to get you to show me your love and yet, you stood there, silently, not even gesturing back...



I miss you. I miss your hug. I miss training and fighting. I miss the sound of your voice and the warmth of your smile.

I do remember fondly, all the smiles you've brought me, Big Brother. All the lessons taught and all the promises lingering...

「 Planet Tal. The Shigu Dukedom. Sometime in the future. Sometime after 100RC. +700 」

A festival scenery piece wherein the denizens of the Dukedom are enjoying celebrations of a sort. Drago Silves is playing a song for a few younglings, eagerly dancing away at the tune, whilst his little brother, Jiro sits alongside him, staring with adulation. A Nevrean woman stops by and giggles at the sight of everyone enjoying themselves and the Talyxian-Stalker, peering from the candy shop.

The instrument Drago is playing is called a Venaulie, you can read all about it here, concept and design by

This absolutely amazing scenery work was done by

alichart whom I thank from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to bring it to fruition in such a manner. What was originally supposed to be just a drawing of my Sergal, continuously grew into this final image.
