Watercolor on Watercolor Paper
A bit of bondage, some wild west saloon girl, and a European mythological beast. I'm not really sure what I was thinking, other than 'I want to do a watercolor, and I want to paint a unicorn'
When I've done a lot of digital work, I tend to want to mess about with traditional media. I'm also still settling into the new place, and doing my work here really helps.

I've actually read descriptions saying that a unicorn is a goat with horse's legs and mane, a lion's tail, and a horn in the middle of the forehead. So, if you had put the beard on her, it wouldn't have been incongruous. (Nice word for a southern redneck to use, right?) But, I can assure you that I'm not complaining about the way she looks.
Well, us rednecks and you hillbillies tend to be looked upon by the rest of the country as illiterates. To see us using such words tends to shock the rest of the "educated" country. I like to say, "I'm a Yankee's worst nightmare, an educated redneck." LOL.
BTW, I've got a print of a drawing of a unicorn somewhere and it's exactly like I described.

That attitude frustrates the shit out of me! Even in NC, us 'hillbillies' were looked down on. In highschool, we went to statewide technology competition that was mostly a problem-solving thing, and the other students mocked us. Until we took home first place in every competition we were a part of. And second place in the ones we were allowed to have two entries in. People hear my accent and they think I'm an idiot, though.
Also, I love those style unicorns. I may do a non-anthro one soon, since I've been drifting into more fantasy lately.
