I loved Detective Pikachu. One of the few times I've gone to the movies (I only like crowds at cons) and it was awesome!

It really was!! I'm glad you had a good time, I feel like you need more of that in your life! (Although I guess, who doesn't?)

Working on that and the pay raises from a certain mouse are helping. Working overtime every week to pay the bills is not fun. Taking time to enjoy the remastered Grim Fandango.

Pay raises are definitely mood-boosters! I've been told I won't be getting any more from my job (I only got one a few years ago, and had to beg and bargain for it) and yeah the absolute lack of morale that causes isn't exactly putting me in a good mood (or giving me any sort of drive to see this company succeed, which is prolly not a wise business move overall). I would imagine getting one would feel amazing!

Grim Fandango is an adventure game from way back. It was remastered and released on all current gen consoles. I've got it on Switch. It takes place in the land of the dead. The start of the game is specifically on Dia de las Muertes.
