You might say I created an original species... :P
For my scientific illustration class, I had to invent and develop an alien life form adapted to live on a given planet! My creature ended up being a bird- or theropod-like animal that lives on an acidic planet with lots of volcanoes and a sulfurous atmosphere. In addition to avians and dinosaurs, I also took some inspiration from pangolins and anteaters, since it has scales, digs, and consumes invertebrates.
