yeah there has only been one person to successfully make something like this, myself and a very very good friend of mine where going to use a harness system for the legs and arms as well as 5" thick of super durable rubber

Er... if you look at the submission before this one in my gallery, you will notice a finished suit that looks a lot like this diagram. I HAVE successfully made this, so I don't think I really need to trade notes. :)

it's actually not that bad walking on your knees, i have a panda quad the same way. Just takes practice.

I think this is the first time I've seen one done this way. I'm guessing that has to be some really good padding, to avoid wrecking the knees, but if it works, it works! I'm sure we'd all love to see some video of this in action!

I agree with you Benihime_Shido, that would be very cute to have a suit in that style. I would get a canine of some sort I think if I did, maybe a fox.

ah it makes more scene now i was so confused by the suit at first almost thought it was a plush XD

im sure you get this comments a lot but that just looks like a very uncomfortable position to be in for hours at a con i gess it wouldn't be as bad with knees pads and something to hold your legs togeter if i had the cosume i would be afraid of breaking the seems on the costumes because of the force on it ... .. i was trying to see for my self and i could hardly keep it up for 10 mins let alone hours ...
all i can say to the people who pull this off at cons is congrats

Like the really thick ones and just hot glue between or might you have used Super 77? I'm trying to make a slowpoke fursuit cosplay, and am getting really worried about possible pain from walking around on my knees. >_<
