Though you had help, your spear is one of the most painful weapons Kuja felt pierce his wicked heart, inside it was the pride and revenge of a race shown nothing but hate and wickedness, being slaughtered no matter if a threat, butchered even if a child. Freya, with every emotion you had inside, and that of your people. The cries of every murdered Burmecian filling your mind, and your inability to have stopped it, you held their spirits within, and you who avenged them all even though it wasn't easy, a herculean task with many sacrifices to achieve. A proud Burmecian, and one of the strongest heroes beside. You were key, with friends..comrades at your back who wanted the murderer purged of existence too, who wept alongside you and helped you find your lost love. Twas all of you who forced the soulless wretch to his worthless knees, stood taller than he, and felt nothing but joy as he died painfully for the good of the planet and of your people. Freya, the Burmecian who's strength will fill stories for eons to come as her people move forward, building a new future. Burmecia and the world are safe, and so setting the spear aside, letting one's arms lie at ease, and sitting with the knowledge that the world is saved, and her people avenged, and her lover no longer missing..can finally be at peace spiritually.
Sorry, cringe or whatever, don't care. I love this game and Freya is my favourite character, this artwork is one of my very top favourites. I feel as though she sits somewhere in the ruins of Burmecia, with the conflict over and her people avenged, that these will no longer be ruins one day and she can lay her weapon down for the forseeable future, as it's over. All that's left are the battles within, dealing with the trauma from what happened along the way, the sacrifices for the victory she was pivotal in attaining. Ahh, I love FFIX, it's one of my favourites, and again Freya Crescent is my second favourite of the main characters(Vivi being 1st) and thus I wrote something, in appreciation of the wonderful image and the game I love. I speak too much and too long so I'll stop here, but thank you. Beautiful art, Beautiful game, and Beautiful character~
