From what I've seen it looks like the gods, or at least their demigod children, are common enough to cause a reaction more like celebrities or decently-known actors rather than a world-shattering revelation. Otherwise Lily would have to stay isolated from most of society.
Of course this is assuming this comic is canon not a spinoff, because seeing the water god having legs instead of tentacles threw me off XD

Basically you told what I actually aimed for ^^ I tried to make things simple, this world is full of weird characters just in modern/ common clothing. Nothing is too strange for others. My point is having fun with characters and making silly or slice of life things, instead of concentrating on any questions like WHY? and HOW?
And actually this comic is more like a spinoff than canon :D For the sake of fun again of course.

Oh ... nice for this explain! I have followed your works and comics from some time. I found TGift from the Water God" to be an amazing story but... with some kind of "clash" with the subsequent fun Q&A you did or this other comic.
A great point of the first comics it's that there is not a single word: everything is left to the interpretation of the reader. And in a way i thin it's quite great to leave this all a bit open/vague in terms of canon and story xd
For once, the original comic (looked alone, without influences), seemed to suggest a fantasy/medieval setting, so i felt puzzled at first when looking these other pages xD

This is some pretty bad parenting. I mean... I'm sure the little girl will be fine, but at the same time, that guy is pretty evil. If this were done to me, I'd return Lily to him thoroughly washed. In strawberry jam. She's be completely coated in it, and anything else I randomly wanted to stick to her. I'd probably go out and buy all sorts of things and make like we were making masks to surprise mommy and daddy, then have her come home with a skull I found in a novelty store glued to her head with jam.
And BTW, I'm actually the #1 uncle in my family! xD So to get that kind of reaction out of me would be something else.
