Thank you <3! And yes, that's pretty much how I worked with this one! I'll usually rough in with the wood pencil, as well as use the side of the tip to help cover the broader areas with tone. I'll use the mechanical for tighter areas and places where I'd like harder details or visible hatching. Not pictured is a trusty kneaded eraser as well!
