I can see two things happening for this kid..one, somewhere down the line, someone's going to figure out the only reason he's training to be a guardian is because he want's vengeance, and because of that, he'll be kicked out, and go down an even darker path. Or two, his time with the other kid will cause him to have a change of heart.
I understand the want for vengeance but, I'll warn you from personal experience. It's bittersweet. All your time, and energy to finally make those who hurt you suffer, and feel what you did...then eventually die.
Then what? What felt like your only goal in life is now fulfilled and done. What do you do then?

When I first saw Leonard he looked like an uptight brat. Than as the comic progressed he became a bitter elitist. Now I see a vengeful child who has become overtaken by grief and anger. I am also pretty sure I can figure out what his mistakes are going to be. Something like Miralle being the Guardian protecting the people while Leo is ignoring the civilians and attacking the enemy with focus but leaving heavy collateral damage.
It’s true that we didn’t really learn anything positive about him yet XD Other than that it's great he wants to be responsible, but looking down on the weak just spoils this inention too. We can say whatever he touches, he always approaches it from the wrong side. You can see that he will be veeeery problematic.
I want to clarify I don't hate Leo I'm actually looking forward to seeing were his journey goes. Every body else looks to be enjoying the prospect of him falling to his own flaws. I'm hoping to see Leo fail and improve himself from the experience. Everyone is drawing parallels between him and Kylo Ren and Anakin Skywalker however I don't see that happening for one simple reason. Mira is going to be the best friend that he doesn't want but will be there for him in anyway.
I'm already reading the story and this gives off the dynamic between the two in a matter of like, 20 seconds of dialogue. Leo is so adamant and determined to avenge his mother while the father looks so incredibly depressed that Leo's comment jabbed deep into him, either because Leo blames him for her death or the father worries that he'll lose Leo too
