Спасибо) захотелось нарисовать что-то подобное после просмотра видео, появившегося в рекомендациях на ютубе, где у рыси были проблемы с лапкой и непонятно было в чем дело, так что в итоге пришлось наркозить и везти к доктору. К сожалению животные не могут прямо сказать что случилось(
its just a tranquilizer dart in this instance :) not harmful at all, just puts the animal to sleep for a bit. Usually researchers or animal conservationists do this so they can take samples and make sure the animal is healthy. They sometimes put a tracking device on them as well to keep tabs as an effort to keep them safe from poachers, or at least know if poachers are in the area if this female is killed by any unnatural causes. In no way does this hurt the animal~
Just for moment imagine you are a kid, your with your parent or gardian (whoever looked after you) and its just and your parent, suddenly someone injects that person and they fall to the floor, you don't know what it is, what do you do? If your a kid zeeb you can't exactly dial for paramedics.
One minute his mother is there happy as can be, next he sees his mother laying on the ground, he doesn't know its just a tranquiliser dart.
Not trying to make a mountain out if a mole hill, I'm just saying as a kid you don't know as much until your an adult, soo too watch something happen to someone you love can be scary as a kid.

Yeah Its stressful for any animal seeing it especially for its offspring. Surviving in general for every animal is filled with stress. This is minuscule compared to a lioness stalking a herd of Zebras if it results in a successful hunt.
I get your point but a small amount of stress this once for that foal is worth it if it means tracking and protecting that animal :)
