I'm from Austria, we don't have Toonami here. I think that would help.
At least I have the Series myself and the Artbook as well, so I can remember, all alone :,D
But everytime I draw a Fanart people tell me that they forgot about it and are happy to rediscover it XD

It was heavily censored here in the states when it aired back in the 90's! then I think they started showing it more uncensored on Adult Swim... Like they stopped removing the cigarette in the main character's mouth and recoloring the blood to blue, but still removed Mutio's nipples! XD
I've bought it on DVD like 3 different times now as the 1st release was the TV edit. Then I got an uneditted version with no features then got the box set.
It's one every time an artist is taking suggestions like those draw 6 characters thing I tell them this!

This show had really cool character designs, especially the beast/fish people! I totally would have sided with them. The humans in this show sucked :(

Oh yeah, i looove the fish ladies. They are among my favorite designs of the show. But all the chimera creatures have fantastic designs~ (and yeah, agree...i can't with the humans in that show~)
But yeah! I use Photoshop most of the time, sometimes also SAI (the more cleaner stuff is done with SAI and "ontas brush set" pencil) When i use photoshop (like here) I just use the standard round brush.

oh! i use lazy nezumi too! well, i used to at least — starting it up as a separate app is always kind of a pain, and i'm incredibly lazy… haha. (and i think i also have that same cintiq). My strongest medium is 3d, but i really want to improve my drawing skills lately.
true, all of the chimera are amazing! i bought the art book years ago and I was really disappointed that it was focused mostly on the human characters and mechanical designs. I was hoping to see more design sheets for all the chimera, even the ones on screen for a few frames. it's still a nice book i guess. i should see if there's a blu-ray release…
