it isn't a kink for me, so it's totally not kinkshaming! Age regression within the furry fandom is grouped as babyfur, and me personally, I do not do anything to fetishize or kink-relate my character. It is a coping mechanism for me, to safely and properly deal with my past and troubles that I have had. It is safe, and perfectly normal, and I hope I at least kinda answered your question. Sorry if I'm butting in here, but I'm also an age regressor, so I'll try to help explain. Lots of people use age regression, which is sfw and not associated with abdl or ddlg, to cope with anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, PTSD, and all sorts of other things. It also helps some people where childishness is a symptom of their condition (like those with high-functioning autism) to cope with this. It can be very comforting and make you feel safe, which a lot of people aren't able to feel because of trauma triggers, as well as help them to relax. Some therapists, especially those specializing in complex or childhood PTSD, actually recommend age regression as a coping mechanism to deal with abandonment issues, loss of childhood or innocence, etc. and to help regain positive emotions you would feel during this time.
