So here we have a feraligatr named Borris. He loves to analyze and study plants, and is responsible for some of the lively species that are found in the surrounding areas. Those who have crossed paths with these plants have been said to be left smiling and laughing all day. I'm sure he will have more species to reveal as they develop :P

This particular species of plant does look to be quite friendly and actually affectionate though probably also quite mischievous. I imagine that they perhaps stay low to the ground hidden amongst the grass and wait in ambush, ready to loop around an ankle or otherwise perhaps wait until someone sits on the grass. I'd imagine them slipping inside clothing and going for armpits and ribs, though they especially like tickling feet. The tickling probably continues as long as their 'prey' is laughing and lively, though that once the 'prey' is tired out then they let them go without any trouble.
Though perhaps if someone doesn't show signs of struggling or trying to escape or if like Borris they removed their footwear and was willing then they'd be rather gentle and affectionate and playful with their tickling.
Of course Borris as an expert and a keen botanist probably knows his way around plants and not to struggle and with the plants that are sentient they might well realise his fondness for him so even the bigger ones might be just as affectionate with him as this smaller variety. Though with his rather large and soft looking scaly feet I think he'd be an attractive ticklee for almost anyone.
