This is my new alt's neko outfit. I was attempting to draw enough detail in the torso, and I probably should have not drawn it so wide. She ends up looking fat and/or more like a midget than the actual character. I also still fail at faces, for at least humans. I will keep working on it, but I have seen how to "shade" the edge of clothes to make them appear a bit wider than the person's skin, which may help me in the future make clothing appeal more and look less "linear" on the character.
