A story about wealthy, entitled, and CORPULENT dragons living in the capital city of a crumbling dragon empire I started with 
krown in 2017. Unfortunately, after three attempts to coauthor this story together, we mutually decided to discontinue it, so this story doesn't have an ending XD

This stuff has been sitting on my shelf for a while, but I figured that some of you might like what's here anyways. This is the original and oldest draft of the story that was written. There is a second and third draft to come =P I'll be moving this into Scraps later.

As amazing as this story is, I really wish there was more stories of your quality that depicted the dragons winning. I always find it a bit sad that dragons are always shit on in fantasy scenarios ^^; a world run by dragons could have very interesting and cute ideas in it, I'd think.
It tends to be a nearly inescapable trope that dragons are on the decline, nearly extinct, or even the architects of their own destruction =P Coincidentally, I did actually start writing a fantasy series with dragons at their hey day, "New Alveri." Unfortunately, that story also sort of fell apart in the end XD

There was actually a... not so much "weight gain" as "body positive" drakka in the New Alveri universe as well if you are interested. I didn't get too far in her rewrite either though...

krown and I made a final attempt at this story in 2019, two years after we stopped working on this version. I think we made some serious improvements over the prior two iterations, and it definitely could have turned into a good story! Alas, somethings are just not meant to be I suppose.I would like to revive this story one day. I would also like to reboot Stranded though as well... It's hard to balance priorities lol!
