Went a bit overboard with today's daily doodle, as I was rambling this morning with Umbreow and Clock-Face, over our little concept of an evil circus and its denizens.
We are just having fun putting characters together for it and then she how they do.

The cursed Cirkus is an ancient entity, always popping up somewhere new overnight and tempting unsuspecting visitors to check it out, to trap them in its horrors. Many a staffer or performer once upon a time innocent ponies that merely stumbled into the Cirkus grounds without knowing what fate was to befall them.
We have a lot of fun with this. m

Top Left:
Beauty is Umbreow's creation and a unicorn mare who, after losing a challenge she took in hope of making it home alive, instead ended up as the Cirkus' new beast master. Luckily she loves animals, even the mutated monsters of the Cirkus. Fortune Teller is mine, one of the original crew members from before the Cirkus was cursed to what it is now.
They kinda dig each other, even if Fortune Teller can only talk in riddles now and a bit shy about the mutation she's trying to hide. Beauty digs it though.

Top Right:
Fortune Teller has the misfortune of being courted by the Cirkus' Knife Thrower, whose idea of flirting is to sending romantic sounding death threats by dagger throws. She always can foresee the incoming knives, so he hasn't hit her yet.

Middle Left:
Speaking of Knife Thrower, belonging to Clock-Face, here he is. The most unruly of the crew he often find himself getting punished for overstepping lines even the Cirkus has. Which usually happens by dunking him in the nearby dunk tank to abuse his fear of deep bodies of water. As that tank always somehow seem impossibly deep..
Luckily he has his lackey and sidekick in my character Pin Cushion, a pain artist, who is his closest thing to a friend cuz they are the only one who can stand his attitude problem. Always there to pat him on the shoulder.

Middle Right:
The Ringmaster himself, the heart of the Cirkus and the creation of Clock-Fave. Always smiling and watching over the shows and performers to insure no one breaks any of the many strict rules of the horrific Cirkus. Even performers got rules to follow.. but any visitors breaking rules.. often find a much crueler fate than those enslaved to the Cirkus.

Bottom Left:
Just my Soul Catcher bothering the heck out of the ticket salespony, who belongs to Clock-Face. A friendly visitor with too much curiosity in his heart to mind much the horrors going on around him if he can find somepony to help with his bottomless curiosity.
Ticket Taker couldn't care less.

Bottom Right:
Street Rat, my character, a street urchin sneaking their way into the Cirkus and with a child's innocence only saw.. a circus. Somehow missing all the horrors going on around him. Willingly joining the Cirkus as the only one ever, he truly believes in the magic of the Ringmaster's Cirkus.
We had fun rambling about possible alternative endings if the horror Cirkus was a video game, and agreed the True Ending would be the player defeating the Cirkus and ending the curse which kills everyone part of it. Except for the few least cursed. Which includes Street Rat. The one who believed in the magic and wonder of the Cirkus the most, what he saw as his home.
And he will find a way back home again..

Anyways, I had doodling these inspired by our ramblings together as we just build up this Cirkus and fill it with horrors and characters and story and lore >w<
So enjoy a little peak into that!
