"You are about to enter the courtroom of Judge Judith Hopps. This is Judge Judy."
This is an idea I've been wanting to do for a while now. X3 Those who know me, know I love Judge Judy, and this was just too perfect! The backstory I've thought up to go alongside this scene goes as follows - note that Nick and Judy have gotten married by this point, in my backstory:
After chasing perps and keeping order in Zootopia, Judy decided to pursue her Juris Doctor degree. She passed the bar exam, and became a lawyer. After several years of court cases, Judy was appointed by Zootopia Mayor Lionheart as a trial court judge. She was later appointed as supervising criminal court judge.
Nick's story also begins as a police officer at the Zootopia Police Department. A few years of running after criminals, and Chief Bogo moving to another city, Nick gets promoted to Chief of Police. With this promotion, he more often responds to budget requests than fleeing felons, in addition to a pay raise. Of course, his increasingly sedentary lifestyle comes with an increasing waistline!
Judy is later asked to appear on a new court TV series, as a presiding judge. As they had worked together on the force for years, Judy asks the studio if Nick can portray her bailiff on the show. Of course, now Judy gets to stare at Nick's huge butt all day, although she gets to do that anyway at home!

Zootopia flags & badges were from image clips found on Google of those recreated from the movie. The Department of Justice flag was one I created, using a Google image of the Zootopia logo, and I've added a motto at the bottom: "Aequitas a Justitia" - translated (by Google Translate into Latin) meaning "Fairness by Justice".
