(Andrew)
Another Friday and weekend passed. Nothing really happened on Friday aside from making a casserole in Home Ec. and trying on costumes in Theater alongside practicing the three acts. Another thing that happened was that Gwen asked about the Rainbow Devil form. When Andrew explained it, Gwen thought it was incredibly cool. Same time though, she was kind of jealous because the transformation was so anime-like to her, and she couldn't do it! As for the weekend, the only worthwhile things that happened were that Grey and Cedric took Andrew to a restaurant and to an amusement park. The only sucky part was that Grey couldn't really participate in the park due to his pregnancy. He was able to do stuff like bumper cars, thankfully.

The school day that finally followed on Monday was more of the same from Friday. The only worthwhile thing was that Drake rubbed his chest and his head more than usual. Another thing he did, unfortunately, was spitting out some blood in the trash. While Drake thought no one was looking, Andrew sadly saw it. When he asked Drake about it later, Drake pretended like he had no idea what Andrew was talking about, much to Andrew's chagrin and Alter's disapproval. Eventually, though, the rooftop time came. After waiting for a short while, Ash finally called.
"Yes?" Andrew asked.
"Heya, little shit," said Ash, "There's a situation at the Rocky Caverns in Kentucky. Apparently, some firey creatures have popped up there. Get there and take care of them."
"Wait, fire creatures?" Andrew asked.
"Yes," Ash confirmed.
Ash then hung up.
"What now?" Gasper asked.
"Fire creatures are causing trouble at Rocky Caverns in Kentucky," Andrew explained.

(Drake)
Drake perked up a little at that.
It might not be actual hell, but maybe I can burn early, Drake thought.
Alter, as per usual, shook his head.
Why couldn't I have gotten attached to someone less... suicidal? Alter muttered. I mean, I more than understand why he's like this, but even still...

(Andrew)
Gasper cringed.
"What?" Andrew asked.
Gwen sighed.
"We went to Kentucky once, and Gasper met this dick who became his bane," she explained.
"That bitch can go bite my big, colossal ass!" Gasper shouted.
Everyone gave him a weird look at that. Andrew then tentatively held out his hands. Gasper shook his head.
"No. I'm not going," said Gasper.
Andrew then looked to Gwen, who simply shrugged. The siblings then quickly ran off. Andrew then felt a heavy hand or paw on his right shoulder. Andrew sighed, twitched his tail, and the twosome disappeared. On the other side, there was a large cavern opening. In front of it, there was a young-looking man w/ glasses on. He had black hair, a gray sweater, a red scarf, blue shorts, red-and-white sneakers, a sword, and a blaster.
"Are you our client?" Andrew asked.
The man nodded.
"Yes. Thank you so much for coming!" the man said. "My name is Jean. I tried to get to my friends on the other side, but these strange fire creatures refused to let me through! Can you guys get rid of them?"
"No problem," Andrew said w/ a smile.
Andrew then looked up at Drake w/ a grin.
"Ready?" he asked.
Drake, feeling his strange face-heat again, sighed.
"...No...Let's go..."
The two then dashed in as Jean waved them off.

The caverns, surprisingly, weren't too bad... at least until a certain point. The enemies were silly-looking flame creatures that spat out fireballs and flamethrowers. These were easily dealt w/ as human Drake's winds actually hurt them! He found out later that he could pull water out of the air and use it against the opposition. As for new tools, monster Drake got a red energy shield that could block attacks. The human form got a short, purple teleportation technique that could be used for evasion. As for the terrain, it was trickier to deal w/. Certain floor parts crumbled away, and they had to be jumped from while the safe floor was very bumpy. Andrew and Drake also had to grind on rails quite a bit over beds of rocky spikes. There also walls that Andrew couldn't jump up due to the rough surface. As a result, he had to ride on monster Drake's back as he used his claws to scale it, much to Andrew's delight. Things went from exciting to horrible real quick, though, when the twosome got a hotter section.
"We must be getting close," said Andrew.
Drake simply nodded. In front of the twosome, there was a sort of drop. Andrew opted to activate his Rainbow Devil form again. He then jumped over to the hole, extended his wings, and hovered downward. Drake sighed, switched to his human side, and jumped over to the same place. He then attempted to activate his wind power, but, for some reason, it didn't work! Drake then immediately tried to switch forms and grab onto the wall, but he fell too fast! Andrew, noticing this, quickly tucked his wings in and dove down. Ultimately, though, Andrew wasn't able to reach Drake in time. At the bottom of the drop... Drake landed back-first on a bluntish, spike-like rock.

"DRAKE!" Andrew screamed.
He immediately, w/ some great effort, pulled Drake off of the rock. Blood trickled from Drake's mouth, and he stared blankly at the ceiling. Andrew, panicking, put two fingers under Drake's head. He was relieved to feel a pulse still going. Then, somehow, Drake staggeringly got up. Andrew, shocked, noticed in horror that there was now a big dent in Drake's back. Drake slowly struggled forward. Andrew, horrified, got up, and rushed forward, and grabbed Drake's sleeve.
"Drake... please. You need to... lay down or something..." Andrew said, clearly at a loss for words.
Drake looked down at him.
"...As I said before... what are you so worried about...?"
Drake then gently pulled his arm away. He then staggered forward again, coughing up blood. Alter then went in front of Drake and "grabbed" his shoulders.
Drake, stop. Even for you, this too much...
Drake simply forced himself forward.
What is WRONG w/ this handsome lug?! Andrew thought sadly.
W/ tears stinging his eyes, Andrew flew after him. Eventually, the twosome reached the boss. She looked a lot like her minions, except bigger and sillier w/ some black. Like w/ Frost, Andrew would've giggled, had it not been for the Drake damage from earlier. The boss summoned some fireballs. Andrew materialized two blasters, whereas Drake struggled to switch forms, much to Andrew's worry.
FIGHT START!

The fight wasn't too bad compared to the stage. The boss itself lazily threw fireballs and breathed fire at the twosome. Her attention appeared to be more on Rainbow Devil Andrew, which was great because Drake could barely even dodge the slowest fire. As a result of Drake's condition, Andrew had to deal almost all the damage, which worked just fine. Eventually, the boss finally went down at 1%!
VICTORY!
A blob of black oozed from the boss's body and vanished. After that, some fire flowed from the flame monster and phased into Drake. At that, Drake began to tumble forward. Andrew, alarmed, rushed forward and caught him. When the boss got up, she looked the twosome over. She then shrugged and blazed off. At that, Andrew quickly twitched his tail, and the twosome disappeared. On the other side, they were at the mouth of the cavern. This time, instead of a human, there was a wolfman!
"Um, *huff*," Andrew said while struggling w/ Drake's weight, "Where's *huff* our client *huff*?"
The wolf gave him a small smile.
"I'm the same person. It's just that I'm a werewolf," he said.
Wolf-Jean then noticed Drake.
"What happened?" he asked.
"No time! *huff* Give me *huff* the *huff* compensation, *huff* now!"
Jean quickly pulled out two bills and handed them to Andrew. Andrew then quickly twitched his tail and the twosome disappeared as Jean waved.
