I just love Ronnie’s role as the straightman to Rebecca’s and Flora’s fattening antics. Since that basically makes him one of the key characters to give these comics a bit more structure and make them somewhat more than just simple fetish fuel.

Especially since, smth as weird as sumo wrestling for ice cream essentially DESERVES someone to point out the ridiculousness of the matter. Note panel #5. XD

Too bad Ronnie is often treated like shit for this, like how he likely dies here or how he was fattened up by Rebecca a couple of comics ago. Just makes me feel bad for him.

the straightman does tend to suffer the brunt of the conflict. XD
I mean, at least he still has his ups though, like ofc, a girl like Rebecca by his side.

I get that, but damn, Ronnie really gets no love. I'm starting to think that Rebecca likes Ronnie because she cam easily take advantage of and hurt with no consequences.
