Finally, I have a full and complete ref of my definitive fursona, Nick!
Nick is a shy, easily flustered cat, one who identifies as non-binary but doesn’t like to push the issue. He’s fine with being referred to as he/him, since it’s simpler for most people. Nick is timid and always looking to please people, be it his friends, family, or even strangers. He doesn’t like confrontation, and he has so many buttons that it’s difficult not to push several of them just while talking to him. The collar he often wears contains his ‘backup’ copy - essentially, if it detects Nick has died (or, in many cases, been digested), it will automatically reform him. It usually requires that he’s wearing it, though - if he isn’t wearing it at the time he’s digested, someone has to take the collar and manually reform him. Otherwise, he winds up with his consciousness stuck in said collar (or the predator’s body) until he can be reformed.
When around friends or people he’s comfortable with - including those smaller than him, in some cases - he can be quite the charmer. Or at least, he tries to be. His tail does a lot of the work to help with his confidence.
