You know, this could go either way...
This was one of those comics where I kept fussing with it after it was probably done. The problem was I liked the look of the characters in flat colors, but with the complexity of the background, the eye-path wasn’t clear–so I added some lighting effects in hopes of guiding the eye.
On the other hand, drawing the characters’ expressions was pure fun.
