This is the first official reference sheet of my Fursona. Meet Vi‘dar :3

Vi‘dar‘s description:


Vi‘dar is a north eastern Sergal hybrid, born and raised on Planet Animalia . He is a rather tall male Sergal, standing at 1,90m and has a weight of 83kg. His primary fur color is a rather light shade of purple towards gray and his secondary fur color is pure white. A significant fur pattern is found on his back, towards the tail, in the form of a large V.
He is also recognized by his rich fur mane, and long hair.



Vi‘dar‘s backstory:

Vidar was born 1984 in the Northen-eastern regions of the Vilous-URV (United Republic of Vilous). He was raised in a rich family with a long tradition for the military. From a young age, he was disciplined and guided to follow his father‘s career in the army as an officer, and and the age of 12 he joined the Vilousian military academy and began his studies and training to become an Officer in the United Vilousian army. However, his adoration for the Shigu, which he considered his second home, eventually led to his transfer to the Shigu Military Academy, after his father decided it will be best to pursue his studies in the Shigu Republic. At that time, his grades were excellent, and his colleagues remarked how agile he was in training, how eager he was to learn. Vi’dar began his extensive study, and soon, he became an able and tough soldier.


At the age of 18, he is officially assigned to an infantry regiment, as a corporal, after he finished his studies and training. He was later awarded the rank of First Lieutenant in that regiment, but he was transferred to the armored units due to a lack of suitable officers, where he would eventually take the position as a temporary Tank commander.


At the age of 21, under the command of General „Johnatan Silves“ he saw the first iteration and combat action that brought the Shigu into the 5 year war.

During the war, he became more than a First Lieutenant, and he began climbing the ranks. Vi’dar’s units, being led by General Johnatan saw success against MW, and Johnatan noticed Vi’dar’s performance, leading to his promotions. His excellent combat skills made Johnatan Silves appreciate him even further as a tactician and specialist of armored units and infantry, eventually him becoming his right hand man. He is soon promoted to the rank of Commander and proved to his family that he could achieve his dreams. During the war also met the famous Adlerian Captain Alexis Fox and the famous Shigu General, and Johnatan’s sister, Rain Silves. He would eventually join and fight along Rain and the Captain, in an attempt to stop MW’s advance.




Personality:

Vidar is a calm and very serious Sergal. He likes making friends and is very talkative, but sometimes he can get very loud over others. He likes to lead his soldiers and takes great care and pride in his job. On the battlefield, his outstanding strategic decisions make him a valuable commander and tactician. He is ruthless and will not hesitate to kill any MW soldier posing a threat to him, or his soldiers. Occasionally, he rescues MW soldiers from the fields for sanitation, and intelligence.



He still serves in the Shigu army, and commands the 12th armored battalion, along with the 16th and 17th infantry brigades in Rain’s army.






Additional information about his outfit and accessories, and other traits:




-His uniform is a custom design for the „Shigu Animalia“, an uniform that covers the high grade Titanium armor all Shigu soldiers wear.

-The uniform cap resembles the Canon Shigu Armor, the ear and snout pads are able to be detached and are being held in place by magnets. They cause no discomfort in battle.

-He also carries a modified heavy pistol, based on Desert Eagle, called „Illustrious Defender V. Mk1”



-In this reference, he has two medals with the following meaning:

-The Order of Shigu (right)
The honorary medal generals and commanders wear. This award is granted for exceptional combat duty.

-Vilous Medal of Honor (left)
The medal of Vilous is a reference to the original Vilous logo. This medal is given to all Nevreans and Sergals in service from more than 15 years in the army. This medal is also awarded for soldiers that serve or have served in the 5 year war as commanding officers.

-The Silves Award (honorary ribbon)
This ribbon is awarded to Soldiers that served under any of the Silves family members. (In Vi‘dar‘s case, he served under Johnatan Silves, one of Rain‘s older brothers. He will eventually serve Rain later in his career)


-The scar on Vi’dar‘s left hand originated during the 5 year war, during an encounter with MW forces, that rushed his unit, and his tank. Infantry attacked his vehicle which resulted in Vi’dar taking a blade in his hand. He fought 3 soldiers only with a knive. Eventually, he and his crew defeated the attackers and locked up the all openings. They escaped shortly after…
