I've been obsessed with this aesthetic for as long as I can remember and it finally feels like I'm getting a bit closer to capturing the tone. Really pleased with how this came out, particularly the sun in the background. I might need to find a faster way to make a grid pattern though.

Understanding that I lack artistic ability. I think this piece is some of your best work yet. The background of the sun done in classic "wave" style while it reflects off a square patterned ocean. And the lighting/shading is superbly done as well leaving Z in a calming glow. Really I could go on, but the point is you did a fantastic job on this piece!
No problem, It's always interesting to me to see writers that I enjoy watching dabble into art at first and see how they improve as time goes by. Your improvement these last few years in your artistic ability is pretty incredible and as I said this picture is ( imo ) one of the best to show how talented you've become.
