As previously mentioned in a few of these reports, one of the types of research that we carry out here is that of interesting species and oddities. These curious species and genetic rarities can provide us a great deal of information which we can in turn use to help expand our own knowledge and understanding. With that we can make our treatments more authentic and accurate, and hopefully provide a better overall experience to our customers. However, not all of these cases are black and white, such as the case with Mx. Star. We were contacted by another laboratory about Mx. Star, asking us if we could examine them. Apparently they were an oddity that they were having a hard time understanding. Our curiosity was piqued and we of course agreed. A few days later, we met Mx. Star.
Mx. Star was an odd creature indeed. We'd seen people with similar bodies, and even offered some in treatments, but there was something odd about them. They appeared as a rather androgynous humanoid made entirely of a pink goo-like substance. Their eyes were a bright green, and really stood out to me. We were all introduced and it was explained to us that the reason Mx. Star was such an oddity was because of how they came to be. Apparently, Mx. Star was not born, but created. And by accident at that. They were created during testing of a new computer system, a network of advanced nanites in a gel suspension, intended to rapidly reconfigure to suit their given task. It was a complete surprise to the laboratory when the gel seemed to take an actual shape, let alone interact with them, far exceeding their expectations. From what we can tell, Mx. Star appears to be completely sentient. It's fascinating really. We're just as curious to learn more about them.
