Jem Family Painting - Isabella Version
Isabella, Darius and Cynthia reunited as a family for a traditional family picture. I imagine Darius, in efforts to support Isabella/Zeydaan's non-binary form would have both of these paintings on standby and would have one of his servants switch one for the other on display on confirmation of what form Isabella/Zeydaan may be today.

When you put the two versions of the portrait side-by-side on different tabs and switch back and forth between them, you see that Zeydaan/Isabella's poses are exactly identical. It actually creeped me out for a few seconds, as though the image itself had changed, even though of course I knew it hadn't*. That's a good effect; it much have taken you some time to get that down perfectly.
*In-universe, why NOT have one magically changing painting instead of two that you have to manually switch out? Maybe by mixing a few drops of Zey/Izzy's blood into the paint comprising their image to make it sympathetically attuned to them? If that's a thing that you can do with this world's magic anyway.

Omg, I hadn't thought of that with the paint, that sounds actually like a really good explanation.
Though Darius is the sort've person to commission a painting where every detail is impeccably the same except for the state of Zeydaan/Isabella- I do like the concept of them having an unconventional use of their powers.

*Been struck by one of my Silly Thoughts*
"Very well, now that I've finished the family portraits, you should probably have Isabella entered into the register of The Society of Proper British Dragons(TM) and schedule her personnel portrait for their collections. Given her more humanoid morphology I assume that you'd prefer her wearing her best clothes with a haughty expression on her face rather than the older style of laying au naturale atop a pile of gold coins whilst breathing fire."

...so, looking at your commission prices, a shaded drawing of Isabella trying to look FIERCE! (hissing, fangs bared, a claw ready, possibly wings flared.. all the while still dressed like a French Maid) while crouched atop her hoard of videogame cartridges laying in front of a TV with multiple consoles plugged into it in order to protect them from a pair of encroaching nerds would run something like between $150-200 American?...
Not a complaint but an observation- I think that this more realistic painted style hits Cynthia with the Uncanny Valley Effect. Isabella might have a dragon's head (and partially obscured wings and a tail) but her body proportions are otherwise that of a normal human woman's. Her mom in contrast has too long a neck and not simply a breast-less chest but one where the sternum protrudes out further than it does in humans'. It's a bit exacerbated by the fact she isn't smiling like the rest of her family. She looks fine in the more cartoony style of 'Zeydaan's Folks' and the trilogy that leads to the in-universe creation of this painting, but here the more realistic style somehow emphasizes her inhumanity, intentionally or not.
